Also discussed on this month's episode was the Greene County Thanks-For-Giving Community Day, which is a Health Human Services, seniors, veterans, and resource fair held at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

On this month's episode, the Greene County Commissioners invited Lauren Chambers from the Early Intervention Program to speak about their services, along with providing insight into the eagerly anticipated "Good Old-Fashioned Halloween Party". The Early Intervention Program provides developmental and educational services to Greene County children younger than three years old who have developmental delays.

On this month's episode, the Greene County Commissioners met with two representatives from Centerville Clinics to discuss the wide range of services they provide for our community.
 
Centerville Clinics is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), a non-profit community based health organization. An FQHC provides comprehensive primary care, dental and mental health services to people in all spectrums of their life. Centerville Clinics also assists patients to access specialty and hospital care services not available at the center.

The mission of Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania is to increase awareness of domestic violence and its effect on the community, to empower those victimized by providing advocacy and safe and effective services, and to work for social change designed to eliminate domestic violence.

Greene County Career & Technology Center (GCCTC) is an educational facility founded in 1970 and located in southwest Pennsylvania, just off I-79. Offering 11 professional programs to high school and adult students from five local school districts, GCCTC has a program to match nearly every career and educational goal. Career-minded students can take advantage of important career training and employment opportunities offered through the school, as well as certifications offered in their program areas.

Today's topic was all about Beverly's Birthdays, a Pittsburgh nonprofit organization that provides birthday celebrations for children experiencing homelessness and for families in-need.

The County Commissioners met this month with Barbie McMinn from Angel Wings Animal Rescue and Melody Longstreth from the Greene County Chamber of Commerce to discuss local programs in the county as well as upcoming holiday events. McMinn detailed the work Angel Wings does in rescuing horses, while Longstreth talked about the chambers' efforts to support local events. These events are a great opportunity for locals and visitors alike to come together and enjoy the county during the holidays.
